3. Connect with the car

A diagnostic interface connects a PC to the vehicle. The reference MBTools workflow lists Tactrix Openport 2.0 (CAN), BMW ENET (DoIP), VCX SE and Bosch C6 (CAN + DoIP). This is not a guarantee of support by MBSol: confirm your adapter and operation before buying equipment.

The reference service requires Windows 10 or 11 and a reliable internet connection throughout the session. For MBSol, the application and drivers must be confirmed by your specialist. Keep the laptop powered and use the agreed vehicle power supply.
